Wednesday, June 25:
1) Bring revised rough draft (topic - "try it out", W p. 17) to class tomorrow. Also bring your prewrite list and outline.
2) Narrative Essay #1 - topic: R p. 8 #2 (You could just write about any particular memory; it doesn't have to be about your earliest memory or about a childhood memory...). Brainstorm AND essay for this is due on Monday.
3) Grammar p.104-105
Thursday, June 26:
1) Narrative Essay #1 - topic: R p. 8 #2 (You could just write about any particular memory; it doesn't have to be about your earliest memory or about a childhood memory...). Brainstorm AND essay for this is due on Monday. (same as #2 from yesterday's "homework".
2) Choose your outside reading book and bring to class on Monday.
3) Revise yesterday's essay (#1 from yesterday [topic - "try it out", W p. 17]) and turn in the list, outline, rough draft, and final draft on Monday.
4) Study for vocabulary (from Reading Unit 1, p.5-7) quiz on Monday.
note: R=reading textbok, W=writing textbook, G=grammar textbook
note: If you can, please write your journals in your blue books. It'll help with organization. Please turn your journals in on Thursdays.
note #2: Please type your final drafts if you can.
